Driving this afternoon I noticed that the shift pattern seems to have changed. That's the best way I can describe the symptom.
1st seems to feel almost where 3rd was, 2nd feels a tab to the right and so on. Even to the point where shifting into 3rd I actually put it back into 1st which i have NEVER done in 15 years. All the subsequent gears are there, 3rd, 4th and 5th. However after 1st and second seem to have moved to the right in the shift pattern 3rd and 4th are very finicky to find and very close to 1 and 2. Does this sound like busing, coupler, etc issues? Or something else potentially? BTW I do already have a WEVO Shifter. Thoughts? Thanks! ![]()

Simple enough to pull the rear tunnel cover and check busing coupler... that's where I'd start.
Sounds like the clamp on the coupler/rod has worked loose.

Most likely the coupler bushings have self destructed. Very common. Should check the other bushings under the shifter while in there.

Thanks for the direction. Glad that I found this to be the cause. A quick search and found this and more inside the rubber boot.
Is this bad ![]() ![]()

It looks like you should replace all your bushings at the gearlever and the coupler. These jobs are straightforward if a little fiddly. There are instructions how to do these in the Technical section and plenty of threads where people have had similar problems to you. I did this job on my car although I didn't find catastrophic failure I did find 'tiredness' and updating the bushes took away vagueness.
The parts are not expensive but make sure you change all of them to be sure... I hope that is helpful. Cheers, Neil |

You still need to check your coupling in the rear to ensure that you get it all.

Thank you all. I've ordered new bushings for the coupler and under the shifter from our host. They'll be here Friday. Just in time for another weekend project.

Removed the bushings. Here are the results. The one's below the shifter look decent, however I'm still replacing them.
