$250 for plug wires?! NO thanks! Less expensive option...
My 911 needed wires, so, no worries right? Plug wires are like $50 normally. First Pcar sticker shock! $250!! No way. After a bit of serarching, I bought these 'Beru' very well made ones for $55

Where did you purchase these from? I have new Clewett wires now but I don't mind having a spare set to have in the tool box.

You must've hit the deal of the day on these....they're at $87.79 now, with two sets left!
Must've been cheaper when they had more sets in stock....thanks for the link though. |

I bought those about a year ago. I never could make the car run without a misfire with them. Finally ended going back to my old plug wires, and it fixed my misfire issue. I actually just threw them in the trash yesterday. The wire ends, and extension are BERU, but the actual wires are junk

Rock auto has some great deals with seals and gaskets too.
Now that you leaked the secret, we'll see their parts sold on eBay for big €€€€$$$$$

Give your new ones a whirl and see how they do. I'll bet they will do just fine.

I think they will be fine. I will probably cut my old ones open and it would've been great to have another set to cut open and see what's inside. That's why I asked for the set above, if you're tossing them out, I would like to see 'what's inside.'
![]() What I love about these is they look very solid, very heavy. Stainless steel and the ends look beefy. |

Have you guys tried to keep the ends and replaced just the wires, bought from Kingsborne?

I had the fancy 10 mm magnecores on my 72, but wanted blue wires. At 69 bucks I said, what the heck. Been running them now for 5 years.

Made in USA!
![]() These wires are awesome. Better than the 'Beru's I had in my car. The ends of these are very positive fitting (cap and plug) ends. The old wires there were multiple positions you could put the wires and that didn't feel good. Also, these wires are about twice the weight. The end is one solid 'plug', whereas the old ones came to a little point. I posted about 'lack of power' before but now the car is ALIVE!! I was changing one wire, then turning on the car, repeat. When I got to the second wire, the engine smoothed out and it put a BIG smile on my face! NOW it feels like a Porsche! |
