What's the best way to remove windows

Was wondering if anyone could tell me the appropriate steps to remove the door windows in my 1980sc targa. Is it best remove glass before regulator? Thanks

You've got your door slot seals out right?

Pretty sure you have to remove window frame.

I took my window out recently. Basically you are going to be taking the whole door apart to do it. There is a way to slide the window out with the quarter window in place, but GOOD LUCK.

I took everything off. Regulator, quarter window, window slider. I angled it out up top by tilting it carefully. NO scratches!

The carnage! But it was actually pretty easy/fun. I had to take it all apart because the window was in the way of the door latch (broken, got a new one!).

I'll be honest, if the Bentley instructions didn't work I've got nothing for you since I removed my door glass using those instructions.

I carefully followed the directions and there's no way window is going to slide out.I guess it's time to tear the whole thing apart.

Did you remove the window frame first?
