Door, trunk has two wings on it the width of the front of the trunk.Door has one 90 degree bend on it.

Lay it flat and try to get it to show the shape by taking the twists out of it. Too hard to tell when it's all squirrels like that

It's 4ft at the top and 5ft at bottom sides are about 2ft .. I was thinking maybe the gasket that goes around a targa back window ..

If it has one 90 degree (+/-) corner, and the two 'sides' of it are different, one firm, the other squishy (hollow) I would vote for door seal. Assuming you have access to a car, stick the 90 degree corner in the top back side of a door opening and then follow the seal around the rest of the door opening. May seem a little short, but that may be normal.

How "heavy" is it? Door/front trunk seals are relatively wimpy.

I think you may have it nailed but I cant be sure given pic does not show left "hard" corner.
