AC Relay socket melted ?

After reading on the forum about the AC relay in the smugglers box I decided to pull mine and see what it was. I found the side of the socket that is nearest the bulkhead was melted. The relay is a 30A original west german from 1987, thankfully not a 15A replacement. the system works fine. I cannot tell how old the damage is. It appears to be on the terminal with the red/white wire (terminal 30). I would appreciate any thoughts on what caused it, and what I should do about it. last year I moved the front condenser fan off the AC fuse to the unused fuse next to it. the card on the fuse box calls it fuse 2 moved to 3. but I understand it is also called 20 to fuse 19. thanks

Oh my, too much resistance on that line. Check your fuse panel #2 fuse.

I ended up replacing the fuse block #1
