3.2 motor - how to disconnect head sensor

Happy Labor Day!

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how to disconnect the head sensor on the front of a 3.2 motor. My goal is to remove the engine tin, not the senor. But I cannot figure out an easy way to do it. Does it just unscrew?

Any suggestions?

If it is the old OEM, it is a 13MM deep socket. Cut the wire off.

Install:

Use a grinder and make a slotted 14MM deep socket tool to put on the new updated CHTS. Be very careful not to cross thread, the head is only aluminum.

13mm Socket With Cut-out

You can remove it and save the wire by either making or buying a socket with a cut out:

Good luck,

Gordo
