Where does this part fit.

^^^^^
WHERE DOES THIS BUSHING/SPACER GO?

I FOUND IT ON THE TRUNK FLOOR NEAR THE FUSE PANEL.

THANKS IN ADVANCE,

GERRY

Likely a spacer for the rocker panel cover.

Perhaps those were off the car at some point and parts left/lost in trunk?

Not a spacer for rocker panel, they are half that thickness and a bit rounder. Also not number 5 in diagram for rear electric panel.. those are rubber with vulcanized threaded insert.

Believe this is the stand-off for the lower mount on the front fuse panel. Takes a long phillips through the standoff into the tub.

If there's more than one, I'm missing the rest.

Now for the "endless" search for a P/N...........

Thanks,

Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Here's a shot of one of mine for some confirmation. Looking down at aft end of the box.

Hi Dan,

Is there only one spacer?

Thanks,

Gerry

I did a quick look, but it isn't easily evident, and I didn't have my mirror handy.
I thought it'd be simple to see the other end, but it must be behind some of the wiring or the headlamp relay kit. I couldn't even see the screw hardware on the front, unless they are hidden by the fuse blocks and don't know if I'm looking for 2 or 3.

I can try to take a more thorough gander tomorrow after work.

I know yours is an '86 but take a look at the 89 PET.
It shows a phantom spacer, QTY 1 (?) as item #36.
PN 911 612 401 00

This same part number is on the '86 PET - not drawn - but on the Parts list with no item (pos) number, just a dash. Also qty 1.

Steely,

You are correct.

Only one required.

I don't have the 89 data you have.

What is the P/N for the screw that hold the spacer in place?

Thanks,

Gerry
