They are very fun cars when the suspension is freshened up...both cars here are class of 87.

My Brother Frank and I went into the local MBZ dealership (in '86-87) and just sat in one (was black/black int)

The sales guy knew my Parents and let my Brother Frank (about 18 but very skilled guy) drive the 190 16V,

Frank said the shifter was so precise is was really difficult to get used to quickly.

I was in the back (age 15)

This is my favorite thread !

Gorgeous build and great, great color !

Yeah I have been fortunate to have 3 190e 16V. The first was a 1 off car from Renntech, one of the early Renntech cars. The second, I found on craigslist locally with 51K original miles (lil old lady owned it, bought it new) and I couldn't bring myself to modify it, so I flipped it pretty fast. The 3rd was my euro version that I built up. I had to sell it to fund the current blue Porsche. If you get bored, here is all 3.

Looks great!

I think the wheel lettering looks cool, but want to see it at full stance after the corner balancing.

But I was curious:

That's the last time you'll see my car behind yours! JK. Pics don't do your car justice. Spectacular paint job. I'm sure performance is equal to appearance. Those guys are second to none. Hope to see you at some events soon.

Cleaned up rotors. When I do the suspension down the road I will clean up the undercarriage and powder coat and rebuild the calipers.

advance auto have a collection of lengths for "euro" brake lines - just have to bend them up a little (with two cars with brake mods you lean to get creative)

nippy 03-25-2017 11:14 AM

I got it via Pelican, goes on Monday.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1490465643.JPG
