Nice video tour, Nippy. What parts did you use on your new lightweight battery to be able to connect your stock battery cables to the new battery? I would like to convert to the same battery but the new batteries typically have different positive and negative terminals.

We got them at Summit racing. Just look for the posts, they screw in no problem. Will see if I can find the link.

I wasn't convinced on the 965 rubber smile until I saw your pics - the fit looks perfect.

Which rubber parts did you use to seal the top of the rear bumper? Looks like there are 3 different sections - are they Porsche parts or just generic? Thanks.

For the rear,we used the factory pieces. (2) 965 part #s on the sides between bumper and fender (I think the 930 pcs are NLA or at least I couldn't find them. Then the 1 pc. beneath the reflector (standard SC part #).

WOW! That car is stunning! I wasn't sure I was gonna like the tire lettering but on that car it seems to fit perfectly.

I second the 'WOW' comment above. WOW!

Very nice job Nippy!

No just dangling it out there. If somebody offers me the right $$ I have another 911 in my head. I will end up keeping this car. ITBs and suspension still need to be done and I'm not a quitter!

Anyway, fun at DuPont cars and coffee today. If you want to make a wide body car look narrow, hang out with these guys! 2 RWB cars (Tampa and Orlando) at the meet this morning!

Good seeing you again. The car looks great! Excellent project, turned out amazing.

nippy 06-11-2017 09:05 AM

Photo shoot today with my buddy and one of the bad ass murals in downtown St Pete! He did some crazy wide angled rig on the car that makes the car looks like its going 20MPH. Should have those pics later tonight. These are mine from my iPhone. SmileWavy
