I think Mike said Im limited to 183MPH@7300RPM with the current gearing. LOL, trust me, she lifts at 125MPH, I wont be seeing anywhere close to 183MPH with out some serious aero upgrades.

New oil cap, mine was looking a bit rough. The engine bay should be pretty once the motor is back in there. Also got new differential bolts (12). The Guard LSD uses 928 length bolts, hence the 928 part #.

Just remember. Years ago I talked to a tire shop. He said he made more money than he ever did in the shop since they came out with the low profile tires. Why? The low profile tires bent the rims in pot holes and that meant a wheel replacement. Ha Ha.

power to weight ratio is a curious thing. my brother has ZL1 camaro. 4000 lbs. and 650 HP. i have a 2000 lb. 914 with close to 300 HP. modern nannies aside, similar power to weight ratios, vastly different driving experiences...

It’s still in mock up stages, there’s a gear noise turning it through and in the process of elimination, the second gear set was the problem, I am guessing it ran a long time with the bearings loose and now that it’s tight center to center it wasn’t happy Mike Bruns

Just giving nippy a hard time. I suspected it was in prefinal assembly process. Great observation from Mike on the gear noise during assembly. That's not a talent you're going to find very often. Mike will also set you up with a nice 2nd gear for sure. He sold me a very nice 18:33 2nd gear set for my needs awhile back.
