The part from Stoddard in post 64 was a incorrect piece and was returned. You need a factory 964 part #.

Went to the HSR 24 hour classic at Daytona this weekend. What a spectacular event. Lots of cars and great people!

Oh yeah.... Patena at its best.... too bad ALL Porsche’s r not daily drivers....

Merry Christmas to everybody! Took a good drive on a sunny Xmas day here in Florida. Finally getting the small bits sorted. The muffler straps kept snapping, so we made a bracket off the bottom motor mount bolts and heavier gauge stainless straps for good measure. Also had a clunking in the front passengers corner since day 1 from the new suspension. Turns out the Rennline monoball had about 1/4" vertical play in it that made a clunking noise over bumps both on compression and rebound. Switched that out and all good now. Yesterday on the ride, the WEVO shift joint came off as the conical screw had backed itself out and the shift rod separated (I was stuck in 2rd gear). Easy fix removing the shift joint cover and using blue Loctite on the screw this time around, back on the road in 5 minutes. Spotted my first 992 in the wild at dinner the other night, its a beauty for sure.

New tires today. Got the Contis again. Haven't got the tire lettering kits yet, so will be going to Daytona Rolex tomorrow through Sunday with the classic look! She's got fresh oil and a wax, ready to go!

Got a good look at your car at around 2:50 pm on Saturday during the Daytona coverage in a quick piece on the corrals. Looked great!

Thank you for posting this pic! Brings back fond memories as this car was from my hood.. spend a lot of time in and around it and the 934/35 and 934 owned by Electrodyne back in the day. All 3 cars were retired and sat in the showroom of the store until they were slowly sold-off. This was the last to go.. and it is a very special car.
Its one of two tube-frame IMSA 944 Turbos built by Dave Klym/Fabcar.
