I am planning on loosing the mounting bolts on the muffler to relieve any pressure on HE/cross overs.

far from nugen

I bought a used m&k, one in gt3 style.... from a pelican....for 82SC....
I found that there were two things making the muffler not centered...
first..... the clamp raises the muffler too high, I made a spacer , an inch tube at the top the clamp, that brought the muffler more centered.
second .... the cat bypass, I have, seems to be not right with the welds and it is not parallel to the motor(like pointing to the drivers side more)

maybe this is something to think about....

The muffler was returned damaged with inlet flange and installation kit missing. We are working it out.
