Question on Reinstall of 911 Package Tray
On an '86 911 Carrera Turbo:
Trying to reinstall the leather covered masonite package tray/rear seat back. Cannot get the metal hook on the back of the seat back part to reingage with the metal loop on the vertical face of the engine bulkhead. Is there a trick to this job? Any suggestions from those that have done this job? Thanks

Well, in my experience, "persistence" is the trick! Actually I found that I wasn't starting high enough for the tab to catch. Anyway, just keep trying, you'll get it to fit.

Just be careful, the hook is just glued in place, pull too hard and it will tear. Try bowing it a bit to allow the hook to catch.
