It can be done, but you have to change all the plumbing between the sensor plate and the intake side of the turbo, as well as the output side on up to the cooler. Not just a swap over. The C2T used a complete different style intake, and the I/C actually fits right onto the throttle body, as opposed to the 930 style which used an intake piece inbetween the two.

The only way would be to use the all of the plumbing from the C2. The main problem is the tube that runs from the bottom of the sensor plate housing to the inlet side of the turbo. On the C2, it goes straight to it, on the older ones, there is a tube, than a cast "intake" piece, then another tube down to the turbo. In this intake piece, there is a section that runs over and goes in between the i/c outlet and the throttle body. The C2 i/c mounts right to the throttle body. There would be no way to plumb around the early style intake. So if you change all the pieces over it will work, if not no way.
