3.6 conversion - how do I connect a "Hammer"
So my Rat Rod is now running and to a point where the engine needs a little TLC. It has some issues like;
Those are a few of the issues. I know its not the ignition, that has checked out. It could be fuel pressure (installing a gauge this weekend to check). I realize my best bet it to put the car on the dyno, and read the AFR's as see where it is at. The car has a Steve Wong Chip, so I know that part is wonderful. I also realize I would still be flying pretty blind but, if I could communicate with the ECU though a Hammer or a similar device, I would probably learn a lot that would guide me in my quest to get her running well. Question is what wires do I need, where would they be found in the 3.6 wire harness (colors etc) to connect up a hammer? I did not do the conversation, or I would have left those wires out.

964 so ODB 1.
Vacuum leak....well I am looking into that as well. I had one and fixed it.....and nothing changed. I have even sprayed around the engine bay with brake clean to see if I have one (old school hot rodder technique) and nothing seems to change. I do not disagree though....just thinking a hammer would really help narrow my search. Quote:

Clorinated brakekleen through an engine produces phosgene gas. Have fun. Same as welding around it.
