Pelican Order Problem

I'm a little disappointed with my order that arrived today. I generally have great service and great products with Pelican but this is just plain dumb.

I ordered vacuum hose; 2 sizes. The catalog states that all hose is sold in 1 meter increments. I needed 9 feet each so I ordered 3 of each size (i.e., 3 x 1 meter = 9 feet).

The order came today and one hose is 9 feet and the other size is 3 separate hoses at 3 feet each. Great! I'm sorry Pelican but the parts person should be re-trained or you should clarify you website. I have requested a refund and I'm sure it will be refunded immediately but it's disappointing because this delays my project and this should be basic common sense for someone that works in parts.

They may have them cut up in the warehouse at 3 foot lengths.
Or just a $8 or $9 an hour warehouse order filler...

There was a recent post about this same issue experienced by another member. I believe someone in Pelican needs to be trained on the hose (sold by length) products.

I agree, Pelican has a well earned reputation for making things right.

Exactly my point. If customer service quickly refunds my money but doesn't do anything to correct the problems, then it continues onto the next customer. The point of my post is so that maybe a forum moderator or Wayne himself sees the issue and implements some type of corrective action (i.e., training employees). The mods and owner can then delete my post if they feel it is embarrassing.

Yes, they do sell hose locally. I simply thought I would add this to my order since I was buying other parts that are not sold locally - saves time (except in this case).

Weed is only legal in CA if you have one of twenty-thousand diseases. I'm pretty healthy

Probably the same WH worker bee who did the meter length hoses too.

Yeah, that would be frustrating.

I like Prestone's (antifreeze company) vacuum hoses you can get at your local auto parts stores.
