Bead Blasting Front Struts
The following link goes to an auction for a pair of Boge strut housings that have been bead blasted
Is the fact they blasted the machined surface of the spindle a problem? I have always beem meticulous in the taping/covering these areas prior to blasting in the past. Thanks Andrew M 1970 911T

If they were truely blasted with glass beads, there would be no problem, IMHO. Sandblasting would not do the spindle threads any good, that I'm sure of. While I agree that blasting the machined surfaces of the spindles was unecessary, it most likely didn't do any harm either.
