Yes it is a Targa. I will chase down the wires to see where they go. I know that it does have fender mounted oil cooler.

The door cards look crappy but look original. Window crank and all.

The door cards are not from that car. They are a later style .

Mystery solved. I pulled the switch it goes nowhere. The wires were disconnected.

Sounds like the dash was replaced with a later model.

My electrical is a mess but all the important things work. Will investigate it further as time goes on and as I fix the car.
