....everyone chant with us....
TUUUURBO ! TUURRRRBO! TUUUUUUURRRRRBO! TUUUUURRRRRBO! TUUUURBO ! TUURRRRBO! TUUUUUUURRRRRBO! TUUUUURRRRRBO! TUUUURBO ! TUURRRRBO! TUUUUUUURRRRRBO! TUUUUURRRRRBO! |
^^^
I think that even with the chanting, ol' Dracholio is scaredy scared of the boost pipe - worried it will turn him into a proper freaky freazoid! |
A 3,4 with 964 cams, sounds nice. Now with headers and a chip (maybe extrude hone and a bored throttle too) it would almost be in turbo land.
Can't wait to see the bling when it arrives. |

Test fitted wrist pins and head to cylinder:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1488567369.JPG Was going to chamfer but even the piston has the 2MM step, so I am good with it. |
GAH ! Artwork ! Be a shame to dirty them up with combustion......
but not really. ;) |
Can't wait to dirty her up :-)
How is your repairs going? |

It will be interesting to see if there are any clearance issues when you check your deck height using clay. |

Now, it looks like my job will be ending in the next few months. :( Probably not the best time to drop a bunch of $ Anyway,.... still looking for a single piston and cylinder. |
CR? I think 9.8:1, I may be wrong but if I chamfer the head's lip it should go to 9.7:1. I think I got that right, less compression. So 9.8:1. I measured the heads cc to 89.2
CP spec states: 34.25 cc (dome) - 0.56 cc (land volume). Yeap, will double check deck clearance but I think I will be fine with 0.50MM gaskets as the old ones were 0.25MM and heads cut 0.18MM. I am wondering if I should seat the heads to the cylinders with grinding compound??? Since I have approximately 0.07MM of slack in height??? |
