My father in law modified an early fan shroud upper portion to the 3.6 lower portion, enabling us to run an early style fan and heat, it came out pretty nice I think. Also had to make the rear piece where the oil cooler would normally sit.
Mock up to see how it fits ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks great! Are you using Trizact for 3K and 5K sanding? And then Perfect It 1 and 2 to finish?

The 3M stuff is really nice to work with! the 5K trizact gets the finish so nice that compounding is bare minimum leaving much less chance for mistakes, read burning, the finish.

So beautiful! All of it, nice work. And Rasant's harness is worth it's weight in gold. I spent way too long making my harness and its still nowhere near as nice looking.

Watching these builds makes me want to take my whole car apart and start from scratch. So damn clean.
What fans did you use on the cooler? If my guardless cooler is any indication, they will catch rocks. Even if you're not going coilover, now would still be a good time to weld in reinforcements, should anyone decide they want to in the future. Why'd you go with a center cooler instead of a second fender cooler? I do applaud the choice to have it set back...More options for valances, and much better looking than the ones that protrude. ![]() |
