Great build! Looking forward to more details on coilovers, too.

Maybe I missed the post... but can anyone tell me what this car is/was originally?
It's hard to tell from the pics... as there isn't any pics of it BEFORE all this was done (other than the very distant pic from the first post) |

Man. I wish I could quit my job and just build my car. Not enough time. Jealous you guys can just crank on this thing.

Again beautiful work. I’ve read the other article. How do you plan to register this? Will a smog engine be swapped every 2 years? And how can all this wonderful eye candy be kept clean and un-damaged if planning drives around California? Honestly thought this was a show car build.

Engine will get the same treatment as the rest of the car. The guys at Sleepers Speed Shop can build a really solid motor and their attention to detail is second to none.

Roll bar being fabricated. Color undecided.

Probably should go with black on the roll bar. Unless you want to shout "I HAVE A ROLL BAR". AHIK. I thought if I painted my roll bar white to match my cars paint it would be less obvious. I was wrong. Should have gone with black.
Nice looking roll bar, BTW. However I question the position of the rear supports. |
