Because part of the fun was being able to save and re-use 90% of the OE nuts, bolts, trim pieces, etc.

Anybody can order all the parts out of a catalog new.

It was great to finally see your car in person, Ryan. I dig it! I was seeing willy post updates, and he hit it out of the park like usual. Didn't get to catch you there though, maybe next time!

We haven't got that far yet. Fired it up about 12 hours before it left for the convention. I'll have a good base map on it next week and want to put a couple hundred miles on it before we tune.

I agree it sounds very nice

I just don’t know anyone in the UK who has fitted one. Is there much modification to fit an SSI equipped car?

It would take a decent fabricator to really do it right.

Ryan, not to hijack, so excuse me. I have GT3 as well. The sound is amazing. I fit mine to a set of BB’s. My local muffler shop was able to fit it with no issues. We have even discussed putting in an electrically operated bi-pass tied into the AEM.

Also, if you haven’t fit a TPS yet I would recommend a contactless unit. They can be mounted clock or counterclockwise. Full 360 degree sweep with no resistance. Tuning is precise. No added drag on the throttle bodies.

I think he is referring to a hall type TPS rather than the wiper variable resistance style, something like this:

Honestly, I don't think the drag from a wiper on a TPS sensor will cause any noticeable difference in throttle performance. I have had zero issues with the Bosch wiper style TPS on my engine.
