I surf that site and did not find that picture. I did find a lot of really great pictures, esp the panaramic ones. I'll have to visit the site again.

That Japanese RUF is very nice looking, and the rear reflector delete makes it more unique. thanks pie for the pix.

Yep noticed it. I like the rear reflectors so that's something I'd keep. Still that silver CTR looks so good.

I've been busy trying to get numerous reports done at work, but if you shot me an e-mail, I should have sent info. Send me e-mail to soukus@comcast.net.

Anyone know the specs for the ruf Bilstein shocks and strut inserts? I am planning on sending my shocks to bilstein to get rebuilt, and getting the ruf specs would be nice.

Probably a trade secret though.

M.A. Shaw is asking $900 retail for the YB bumpers front and back......

I talked with Mike Shaw this morning and he offered both front and back YB bumpers for $800 in a group buy. It is as easy as this...tell him you are in the "group B" buy, tell him your year of 911, and send him a check.

M.A. Shaw is a known product with exceptional customer service. He also has no problem with his name and prices being on the net in a public forum. Each piece is made one at a time in a shop that has been around 25 years now.

Here is Mikes web site and phone #.

http://www.mashaw.com/html/product_info.html

MA Shaw
13951 Gershon Place
Santa Ana, Ca 92705
Phone: (714) 730-6917
FAX: (714) 838-6847

Other than wanting the best bumpers for my car I have nothing to do with MA Shaw. I was about to pay the full $900 from all the MA Shaw recommnedations I got from my local Porsche shops.

Any comments on the quality of Rennspeed fiberglass vs. MA Shaw? I, too, have heard very good things about the MA Shaw pieces, but Rennspeed's parts might be just as good.

Just talked to Harvey at Weidmans, my RUF wheels are going into primer, just a couple more days! Heres what I have so far besides the wheels. Just need the rear bumper, and front driving lights. My car is a euro and doesn't have them. Check out mt RUF new car license frame. Hey souk did you get price on just the rear? Those prices on the renspeed is what they list them for.

Souk,

Did you find out if the rear taillights of a C2 needs back dating? I would like to keep my existing lights if possible. I noticed on the white one that he backdated his lights.

Schuey seems to have found a killer deal. I'm sure you guys exchanged emails already. Keep me posted, as I am interested depending on if I need to change my rear taillights or not.

Thanks,

And that's not it! I am doing up a RUF interior also. I took a factory short shift and modified it to fit a 993 RUF knob. I also have floor mats, pedals, door sils, steering wheel and a full set of RUF gauges. Am I a poser or what!

I got those awhile ago, I believe it was in the $400.00 range. I had to buy the dead pedal and a bracket (I believe out of 996, its been awile) and modify it to fit a cab. Now I have a RUF conection so I don't pay so much. That is why I always have RUF steering wheels for sale (plus other RUF goodies)!

piedogger, can't wait to see pics of your car with the bumpers. I have a white '78SC. I think it'll look sharp with the RUF pieces.
