I like them all especially the Gulf car. But I am biased towards that color. This one is mine. Your cars are beautiful. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1521757051.jpg

I allways loved this design on the ST.
Will be really cool on the RSR!!

le chimiste 03-23-2018 02:13 AM

panzerfaust 03-23-2018 05:06 AM

here

Sub'd...wow

Gorgeous work. Looks like an old 175 Squarewave? Great welder, sold one last year for a new TIG 200 and I miss it at times.

Munky King 03-24-2018 02:23 PM

As much as I love Martini and Gulf livery (and I have a Martini livery car right now), that 'Hippie' is going to be AMAZING!

Looking forward to seeing it painted and find out your plans for number 4!

Makes my feeble resto seem almost primary school-ish!

Just staggering motivation for me. Thanks for posting.

skinnerd 03-24-2018 03:07 PM

I vote for Hippie as "car of the year."
Wow that's gonna be so cool when finished.

omgjon 04-20-2018 09:27 AM

The first of the 4 builds I'm doing is back from the paint shop and ready for assembly. All the stripes and Gulf logo were painted on, no vinyl or fiberglass on this build.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1524245124.JPG

I love this website, but it really does need a 'like' button...

omgjon 04-20-2018 06:16 PM

There is something similar where you assign stars.

Omgjon, I don’t do face plant either and after all the data breaches am glad I don’t

Robind 04-23-2018 06:26 AM

Freeman Thomas is doing the design and you will see the master in action. It's really cool that Freeman liked this project enough to get involved! I could not of done this project without him.

How's this car coming along? Any chance it will be at Rennsport in Monterey?

-Levi- 04-30-2018 07:40 AM

The first of 5 RSR's I'm doing is done on my end and heads to Portland Oregon for it's motor. Rothsport Racing is making a very trick motor!! There is no fiberglass on this car and is all steel and aluminum, also all the stripes and logos are painted, no vinyl!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1529088248.JPG

shbop 06-15-2018 09:37 PM

I knew when I saw your garage floor this was going to be good. You haven't disappointed. Can't wait to see the others.

Edoyle 06-17-2018 06:26 PM

Definitely setting the bar high for RSR-type builds. Perfect lines acheived on your metal bumpers. Love the use of the proper rsr/st type flairs in the front. I would love to check out one of your cars in person one day.

Notenoughtoys 07-01-2018 01:21 PM

Wow, that’s wide! Beautiful work.

Munky King 08-19-2018 03:10 PM

Any updates?
Especially on the Hippie! :D

I wish I had your talent!
That’s going to look amazing.

rokemester 08-22-2018 08:05 AM

This has got to be one of the most understated build thread titles of all time on the Pelican. At the very least it should be “My RSR Builds” plural! Phenomenal craftsmanship.

786 08-22-2018 04:50 PM

Amazing stuff, sub'd. Love the hippie car, looking forward to seeing the rest :)

ARCSinAK 08-22-2018 06:22 PM

Beautiful Build-I did a Singer style interior with SpineyBeck leather weave and will be using your leather ideas for the frunk. Again beautiful work.

thanks for the nice work

Geronimo 08-25-2018 06:25 PM

I may have missed it, what seat belts and color are these.... I have been looking at sunset orange from seatbeltplanet.

Also, OH MY GAWD that metal work...

t6dpilot 08-25-2018 09:39 PM

Stunning. Would like to hear about where you got the diamond stitch pad in the front trunk done. Want to create one of those for my cars.
