Brake upgrade question again

Hi. Please hear me out I know this subject has been beaten to death but I am planning to do a brake upgrade using 964 calipers over the 930 rotors. I have searched and did not find the answer.

The question I could not find an answer to is, will the two piston rear caliper fit over the 930 rotors or must it be the later four piston rear caliper?

Thanks Craig

Both the 2 piston and 4 piston 964 rear are sized for 299 x 24mm rotors, to use either on a 930 309x28 the mounting holes need to be filled and redrilled and the throat area opened up a tad. The procedure would be he same for either caliper.

Here you can see a 4 suitably modified

the 2 will provide better bias

either will want a 23.8mm m/c

I've never done that one myself but I don't foresee any issues
