MFI Check Measure Adjust - click for high resolution

Fellow board member, Bruce Herrmann (aka GIBSON) and I have put together a high resolution version of the MFI document, Check Measure Adjust.

The file size is about 2.7MB... click below for the download.

http://www.scatliff.mb.ca/pelican/MFI_Check_Measure_Adjust.pdf

If you find any errors, please send me an e-mail so I can fix them.

Wayne: If you would like to use this version for your site, please help yourself

Is there an updated location for the MFI Check Measure Adjust scan? I've searched many threads on Pelican and they all seem to point to the same broken website. Thanks.

Thank you for the link. This page is well known to me but it still has a very low res version of "Check/measure/adjust" and you barely can´t use this pdf (the pics are terrible) Maybe the Mods can take the better scan from Derek and exchange it ?

Thank you,

I took the plunge and just pulled everything apart on my engine and I'm a little daunted by the task of putting it back on, but this wonderful piece of upgraded literature is perfect.

Just printed it and reading it at work.

Thanks Derek,

funny thing is that a lot of germans are using "CMA" to adjust their MFI´s just because there is no such useful instruction in german language.

Armin,

There is a German language CMA. I had one.
I don’t recall where I got (Frau Baer probably) it but I gave it to Jurgen Barth in about 1980 to give to someone at the Factory.
Hopefully it is in the Porsche Museum Archives with high-resolution copies available to those who need it.
Go ask.

There is a slight difference in then period 'Publication numbers' (4523.xx) for the different languages (xx = 20 for English).

Best,
Grady

You gave it to Juergen Barth ?? !! Ok my contacts to Porsche are not as good as yours but nowadays it´s not that easy to get such papers from the factory. I´ll drop an email to Porsche. We will see. For me the english version is ok but i have a lot of guys here prefering the german one.

Thank you very much nevertheless
