Can an Engine Fan Hub be replaced?

My 3.2's engine fan hub got all torn up by the pulley somehow.
I know people drill out the rivets in order to refinish the fan and hub, but does anyone have a source for replacement hubs?
If so, price?

Thanks,
Graham

Hi Graham - I was not able to find one on our site for your 84' (only starting from 89' on) - if you like, give us a call at 888-280-7799 and one of our Porsche part specialists should be able to help you out or recommend a working alternative.

Looks like the Supertec pulley would cost $260, and reduces the fan speed (which I don't want to do), so it seems like a new fan makes more sense. Maybe I'll try to weld up this hub afterwards, just for fun.

Fan hub.

Have a look in the used parts forum.

Contact Ben (mb911) if you're considering welding the fan. Not something to try unless quite skilled with a welder. Supertec may have other fans available as I had heard he had bought up the remnants of Motormeister's parts bin.

SHow a picture. My hub got messed up and I had it rewelded at the center and machined to fit the alt again.

No affiliation, I was just checking one of my Ebay favourites & came across the fan hub.
