Hi Tony,

Is there is wait list if a seat opens up? If so, can you please add me to the list.

Thanks!

Marc718B 02-25-2020 09:17 AM

I might need to drop from the class. My seat was on April 16 - 17, so if anyone wants to take my spot please let Tony know.

Nditiz1 02-25-2020 12:19 PM

Marc you can switch with me if that helps. I am looking to move to the 16th-17th currently the 20th-21st. If those still dont work I can still take your spot and offer up my spot to @bahnburner since he seemed interested.

Marc718B 02-26-2020 07:05 AM

@Nditiz1 that sounds perfect.. take my spot and offer yours to @bahnburner... unfortunately for me, have a work trip that will last for a whole month so will miss this training (which I have been eyeing for a while!) But glad at least my spot can be used by someone that will take advantage of Tony's amazing knowledge!

Due to an unexpected family commitment, I am going to have to bow out of the April 16-17 class. This sucks, because I have been very much looking forward to the class. Is anyone interested in my spot? Tony, do you have a waitlist?

Fred,

We will be more than happy to have your presence. Please let me know which week you are coming. Unfortunately, I could not afford to pay you or cover your traveling expenses. But we will be delighted and grateful to have your presence and share some of your priceless advises.

I have spent a lot more than the money generated from the registration fee of $250. Do the math, and I am on the RED. The two (2) motors I bought from North Carolina and Las Vegas cost me $15K plus the on-going renovation of the garage ($4K).

My wife and I are scheduled to go to Europe last week of March to first week of April 2020 and come back home from the cruise a week before the start of the Engine Rebuilding Classes. With the Coronavirus fiasco around the world, I could not afford to fail to show up. So I made a last minute decision to forfeit our paid European River Cruise and stay home. And that’s another $5K down the drain. My wife has been very supportive with this project (engine rebuilding classes). She even loaned me the money to buy all these motors (5 total). I am a lousy businessman but LOVE sharing my engine rebuilding experiences with my peers.

BTW, I have not forgotten about your fuel distributors and WUR’s. Three (3) FD’s and one (1) WUR are done. And the other five (5) WUR’s are undergoing calibration. Sorry for the delay. I am getting old too fast and needs more break-time than ever. Thanks.

Having been to your first series of classes, people are idiots if they think you are making money on this class, and they are down right insulting to think you offer the class at no price, or that you would pay for their travels.

You are offering a real service to the Porsche community, and I know I am not alone when I say that we owe you a huge thanks!!

Best regards,
David

Fred,

I believe David misunderstood your early post about coming to Norristown to help me with Engine Rebuilding Classes. You and wife are more than welcome to stay in our humble abode. Sorry for the misunderstanding. His intentions were good and well.

Sean,

I received the $250 payment your brother sent me and got credited for $242.75. I refunded the money back right away because I requested everyone $250 net for easy accounting. Everyone were cooperative and helped simplify the accounting work. For some strange reason, I was having problem communicating with you. If you and your brother are concerned about sending the fee as gift it is understandable.

Yesterday, a fellow member inquired about his interest to join the Engine Rebuilding Classes if any seat was available. And within 2 hours I received the $250 refundable fee. The problem is not getting additional registrants but limiting the numbers joining the sessions. Several refunds were made for participants that could not attend their scheduled sessions. I feel some disappointment that you have doubted the integrity of my financial responsibilities to fellow PP members. Wish you well.

Tony
