Jim,

It’s all your fault. If you did not post the video of your car in the track in this forum several years ago, people would not know that an amateur mechanic like me could build such a motor.

I will be out tonight playing tennis against players as old as my children like you in Magarity Tennis Club located in Bethlehem Pike. I am blessed and fortunate to have practically no arthritis at this age. And grateful to live this long and enjoy a wonderful life with my family. Thanks.

Happy birthday Tony!

I sent my PM with registration info already. Any chance there's a cost estimate?

MADC 01-23-2025 03:29 PM

Any chance for a spring or early summer 2025 class?

Happy Belated Birthday!

My wife and I have travel plans already for the summer 2025. Plus I have commitments to do several engine rebuilding jobs this winter and springtime. Too hectic to have a summer Engine Rebuilding Workshop. The September Workshop would give me more time to get ready for the next Engine Rebuilding Workshop. Thanks for your interest.

I am mechanically inclined and have an amateur ability to rebuild engines and do not possess the precise tools needed to rebuild my 1972 2.7 911.i am very interested in signing up for the September workshop. If there is room how do I sign up?
Thank you Brian

It looks like there is enough interest for another Engine Rebuilding Workshop for 2025. I have to check if the room I was using for the workshop would be still available. It looks like a Fall Session (September) might be the next workshop.

These are the tentative schedules:

Group #1: Sept. 15/16
Group #2: Sept. 18/19
Group #3: Sept. 22/23
Group #4: Sept. 25/25

Maximum of 8 participants per group as we had before. PM me or sign up here for the dates you plan to attend. I will need the following information for the registrants:
Full Name, email address, dates attending. PM or email me your personal information and will keep them confidential.

Today is my 82nd. birthday and could do another WORKSHOP this year. Thanks for your interest.

So let’s begin the head count.

Tony

There are more than 30 people who have shown interest for the WORKSHOP either by posting here or sending PM to me. Unfortunately, only 10 people as of today confirmed their interest to participate. It is not feasible to have a workshop this time with the low number of confirmed registrants.

While there are so many people interested, the number of people willing to confirm their commitment is not enough to conduct another workshop this time. The Engine Rebuilding Workshop for 2025 is now CANCELLED.

Huge bummer but totally understand needing to make it worth your time and energy, Tony. For what it's worth, I just happened to stumble onto this thread at the right time. Could be worth starting a new thread to make it clear it's a for new workshop.

In any case, here's hoping there's enough interest at some point in the future as I'd love to participate.

jedoyle 04-01-2025 05:30 AM

Sorry Tony, I must have misread your earlier post regarding confirming. For what it's worth you could count me in as confirmed if it helps at all.

Kraftwerk 04-01-2025 01:30 PM

Tony,
Just saw this message Happy (belated) Birthday !
DCP is right, I am sure if you start a new thread you will easily get 30 people to sign up.
Heck, I am seriously considering taking it a 3rd time
Also, I can help you set up if you need a hand, I am just 2 hrs NW

Tony happy birthday! Next time you come out to visit your son bring your tennis racket. We’ll have to hit a few balls.

Best regards,

Rahl

I'm in if the status changes to be back on. Sorry I'm late with the news as I just came across it. Thank you.

pnut_lee 05-28-2025 08:42 PM

I would be in also if something were to change. Easy travel for me.

rotundapig 06-26-2025 06:50 AM

Dang, I stumbled across this too late, it seems. I will make my schedule work around any dates if it happens again.

Bhom 07-02-2025 06:42 PM

I am in if a workshop happens.

Eporsche69 07-22-2025 09:04 AM

How much for the Engine Rebuilding Workshop?

Flat6Beats 07-30-2025 04:00 PM

I too am interested in a future workshop, I've been hoping to attend one of these for years, but keep missing these messages.
