Post What size short block do I have

Ok I don't have a parts number manual so I need your help. I have a short block that has the numbers 901.101.101 OR on one side and 901.101.102 OR on the other side. I would imagine the 102 is for the side designation but what size block is this. Is there another number I should be looking for also.

Thanks to all who answer

3280001-3281606 is the engine for a '67 U.S. Coupe. That's the 901/14 motor at 1991cc making 130hp (DIN) at 6100 rpm.

Should match a 902/0 tranny.

Chassis numbers matching this motor should be 11830001 thru 11830473.

473 of these Porsches in this configuration were produced, each weighing 1080kg.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Kurt
