Replacing Pedal Bushing and Clutch Cable. What else should I do?
I have a stiff clutch pedal so I will be replcing the pedal bushings and the clutch cable. Is there anything else I should replace while i'm doing the job?
Thanks, Scott

pedal cluster rebuild? Is that what you mean by Pedal bushing? That and return spring and omega spring. Those are all you can do outside the box

Yes, I'm rebuilding the pedal cluster. Will replacing the Omega Spring help to eliminate the stiff clutch pedal?

Just make real sure the new cable is straight and does not rub on anything. How old is the clutch itself? There is a proper routing for the cable. Take notes.

Hi Scott..there is no reason to replace the Omega spring unless is broken. To help your clutch you should..
1.remove the clutch arm and make sure it is well lubricated after install 2 seals on it 2.clean the Omega spring 3.remove the shaft on the clutch arm and inspect the shaft bearings and lube 4.replace the clutch cable. 5.if you do not have any play in your pedal cluster just remove and clean and finally how old is you clutch itself?? Thanks Ivan, I replaced the clutch about 9 years ago but put on less than 10,000 miles.

Make sure you inspect the shaft that the pedals go through. At the clutch cable end I had the bushing wear out and it elongated the hole. Definitely go with bronze bushing. I did this about 5 years ago but recently had the roll pin that holds the clutch pedal crack on me.
