Help procedure to reinstall motor with trans in
i had some job squeeking her out dreading reinstall whats the trick thanks rear apron is welded yes

Find someone with a lift or block the car up high enough to get it back under.

Bugeye:
No need to remove rear apron, just get the car high enough so the engine/trans (mounted on a floor jack) can roll under it. Point the nose of the trans at the big hole, lift the jack slowly as you roll it forward, and you're there. Frank |

In addition to Jaems and Frank:
This is how I do it. It can be done with the transmission already/still mounted or just as one unit, engine and transmission. Take care that you don't put too much force on the relatively delicate shift shaft with the risk of bending it. ![]() Good luck with the job, Otto |
