Urbanskater,

I assume you are doing this yourself. What type or brand of liner are you using? Is it in an aerosal can? How does the finish come out? Uniform texture?

Thanks,
Mike

Yep did it myself. The type of brand is called Cupli-color(local walmart for $7). It is an aerosal can, it works freakin awesome. It does come out uniform if you know how to paint the right way, other wise if you dont learn, cause it'll be kinda globby. I made one mistake here and there, once i had the can to close and it kinda globbed up, and the other i acidently put my finger in. However you can always go back and add more coats and fix it, so it looks fine now.

Urbanskater - is this product a hard finish 'rocker panel' type coating or a soft undercoating spray? The undercoating is fine for under the car but may not work out well for inside the trunks. Is it 'Cupli-color'? I've heard of 'Dupli-color' brand. If this is a rocker panel spray for $7 I'll go get some.

Sorry my hands got ahead of me on my keyboard, it is called Dupli-Color. It is a hard thick bed-liner type material, not soft at all. It says its ideal for inner fenders, tailgate, bed rails, and running boards. I also use this for under the fender, to touch up the old discolored factory stuff. Why wouldnt it work out for inside the trunk?

The hard stuff is fine for inside the trunks, it's the asphault-based spray not to use in there. A friend of mine recommended Wurth Stone Guard (http://www.carcareonline.com/detail.asp?product_id=11336) which runs about $25/liter and you spray it on with a gun. I might go get some of the Duplicolor stuff and see how it compares to Wurth. Thanks...
