Question about installing windsheild/interior

Hi,

Are there any interior peices that must be installed before putting the windsheild in? Vinyl on dash? plastic on side pillars?

Thanks,
Steve

Dash vinyl, definitely. Seal between dash and windshield, ditto. Not sure of any of the rest, though.

There's a rubber seal that goes on the bottom pinchweld. That's probably the only mandatory piece that needs to be in place.

Follow-up: Dave's right I think the vinyl padded piece needs to go in first so the rubber seal fits on top of that. It is better and easier to have the dash in before the glass. The remaining trim goes on last.

I'm in the same boat... my dash vinyl is a little cracked where it meets the dash... I believe the only way to replace it is to remove the dash.

Sooooo... put in some new vinyl or later on you might regret not doing it while the windhield is off.

ya it's pretty much impossible to get the vinyl to go in once the windshield's in.
