Adding Foglights
Found some fogs in the junkyard. Found a switch in another junkyard. Lights work off the car. Connected switch and lights to car.(they don't come on) Do I need to do something else? Thanks, Pete

Mine didn't work either. I turned the switch on and checked to see if I was getting power to the lights and I wasn't. I replaced the relay and it worked fine after that.

Would a relay exist if the car never had fogs to begin with? Thanks

Peter If I recall correctly, I had the relay but didn't have foglights. The relay was bad when I finally installed the lights, so I changed it. I will take a pic of where my relay is.

Peter, there should be a relay with a red wire and some white wires going to it. This is the one. If you look at your foglight wiring up front, I believe you have ground and a white wire with I think a blue stripe. This wire will be the same running to the relay socket. Hope this helps.

Don't trust the positions of the relays on that fuse panel. Check the wire colors--the relays can be installed in any-old-place, but the wire colors have to match.
