Intake Runner Hoses
I am looking for new intake manifold runner hoses for my 1.7 engine. Pelican lists these as no longer available. What is the difference between the 1.8/2.0 hoses, Pelican lists, and the extinct 1.7 ones? Anybody have any suggestions on a reliable source for 1.7 hoses or any other alternate hose options?

The 1.7 hoses have a smaller diameter; if you try to use 1.8/2.0 ones you will have to crank down on a set of hose clamps to keep them from being a massive air leak.
You may be able to score some radiator hose that is the appropriate ID. I'm not sure, frankly... But it seems worth a shot at least? --DD

Use the 2.0 ones with hose clamps. I did this and had no problems..
