Any help would be appreciated -- Today when putting some groceries in my rear trunk the right bracket mount broke. I am talking about the area in the engine compartment that the upper bolt on the hinge bolts into. My only thought would be to replace the bracket with a new one, but cant find any where that has them. Any ideas?
Thanks, Kevin '72 914 |

Look for "914 Trunk Hinge Plate". Basically, cut off the old one and weld in the new one in the same place. --DD |

If your in the Milwaukee area and need help with the job let me know. I’ve done it before with the PP part. Not a huge deal – except for that blasted torsion spring...
