Sway bar bushing replacement

Just bought my 1st 914. Solid '74 1.8 driver with a newly rebuilt stock engine. Needs some sorting on small items. Rear sway bar needs bushings replaced. Are these just put inside the one piece then pressed onto the ball using a c-clamp or the like.

Boil 'em in water to soften, then quickly get them into a vise to squeeze them in. You may need to help them get started with a screwdriver or other poking implement. I found that lots of made-up pseudo-German swear words helped. Well, helped me feel better--it didn't make the bushings any less of a PITA to install!!

paint the drop links while the bushings are out and replace all of them while you are at it. Used a tie rod puller to press mine back on, used a quarter to protect the bushing.
