Question 951 Fuchs on 914/6 GT any issues?

I want to mount 16x7 and 16x8 951 Fuchs with 23.3mm offset on my 75 chassis with GT metal flares, any issues with these fitting? Any suggestions on tire sizes? Yes I have converted to 5 lug on all four corners.

No problems at all.. but they may not appear to fill out the fender flares without some spacers.

The 951s have a 23mm offset as mentioned. However, the lug bolt holes have a "sunken" look compared to 911 Fuchs. As such, 951 7s and 8s at first glance look like 911 6s and 7s (ie the 951 have a smaller appearing "lip").

911 8s would have a larger lip and well, 911 9s also fit in the back and make a great look.

Not sure if 911 8x16s fit up front.. I know 911 8x15s can fit up front though.

For 7/8s you can run (front/rear) either 205/225 or 225/245.

Eitherway, 951 8s, 911 8s and 911/930 9s are all harder to find and more expensive everyday so unless you find a 911 guy who wants the 8s to fit on the front of his car, hold on to them.

This is my 6 with 951 8 x 16 up front 225/50 RA 1 and 911 8 x 16 rear with 245/45 RA1.
Point is the front fenders are completely stock, so this gives you an idea on how far inset this combo would look with GT flares

(Rear is metal added in 2 sections to give the needed clearance and look)

John are your Fuchs 951 or 911 offset? Looks great. Are you running any spacers? Thanks

TRE, Could you please share some more info on your setup? Specifically, how you've modified the fenders and/or rear control arms. I recently bought a 3.2l conversion and am looking to get more tire on the ground at both ends but would prefer not to go widebody.

Thank you so much.

My 71 has this mod.

Pretty simple, 2 pie shaped pieces added at each end & fender pulled out, lips rolled.

Got 951 8 x 16's on the rear, 1/4 inch spacers, fits nice, 245/46/16 (not much tire vendor selection)
