Odd stall-out/failure to re-start

Took the '70/4 out to test the tranny and was about a mile up the road when it stalled out at a stop sign and failed to restart for about 3-4 minutes. I hadn't warmed it up so it was only running for about 5-6 minutes when this happened. Its a 1.7 stock config. Any ideas???

Garage
maybe crap in tank/fuel filter, too quick for vapor lock.

How are your grounds?

Fuel filter was replaced not too long ago, but the car does have a little old gas in it. Also, I put in some FI cleaner - Techron. The grounds should be OK but I am going to replace the ground strap at the tranny.

Grounds and gas would be my guess as well.

Old gas can kill the valve guides in no time.
Varnish/crap can clog the brass in-tank screen, then float or settle away till the next time.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.
