GA vs GC Engine Case
Hello,
I have two 2.0L engines; one has a GA case and the other a GC case. I'm going to select one to rebuild. Is there a difference between the quality of these engine cases? I have heard that the GC's are not as strong and can warp. Is there any truth to this? All things being equal, the GC case is two years newer. Thanks for your insight. Dennis |

I have heard the same, but do not know the specific deifferences. My guess is that later in the production run, someone was trying to save money and cheapened them.
