Hello! I don't understand exactly what you need. By the way, I don't have Minilites for sale. Can you maybe write it in Spanish? "Yo hablo Espanol". Gracias. SmileWavy

9X16 Factory Fuchs are ET 15
9X15 Factory Fuchs are ET 3  According to the Porsche Classic Price Guide and you can order them from your dealer (or mine)

Can't recall off the top of my head, I will have to pull the 9x15 Magnesium wheels I have from storage and then take measurements.

BTW, there are newly available 9x15 Minilites Alloy wheels, see here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-Minilite-9-x-15-Forged-Racing-Wheel-New-/150388187043?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessorie s&vxp=mtr&hash=item2303d59fa3 and those can be made to order.

Original 9 X 15 Minilite Magnesium

A couple of photos of the one's I have. This pair of Mag Minilites came in the trunk of the Buzzani 914-6 GT
which I purchased almost 10 years ago from Howard De Haven via David Glenn...

Longitudinals Restoration

Here is an area that's often overlooked by many. The jack receivers rust from the inside out later creating havoc.

The following photos will detailed what we had to do to the car, starting with the passenger side. Take a look...

Amazing work. That finished, painted metal looks great. You can see that other than the Targa top the 914 was actually pretty well designed for structural rigidity while maintaining usability as a streetable car.

Both sides now look nice and clean, as if we're waving a magic-wand over the car.

The 914 is vastly superior in torsional rigidity than the 911 Targa, but not to say is 'perfect'. Doing a buyer's inspection on a 914 or 911 Targa? Just put it on the lift and see if the doors close! :D

No curb rash and in perfect shape. All I may need to do to these wheels is maybe have them restored with a new finish, but truly, IMHO totally unnecessary...

Nice wheels!

Armando,
are you going to run the Minilites at the track and the Fuchs on the street,or the Fuchs on the front and the Minis on the back?
I want those kinda choices to make!

Collecting Wheels for my Tires...

The heading is sort of funny, but so true! "Collecting Wheels for my Tires"... :(

I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to do. Let me explain. It would be a headache to have to worry about mounting and unmounting tires on nicely finished and restored Fuchs depending on where you'll drive the car; at a rally, an autoX, the track, or the street.

My goal is to have a set of wheels/tires to mostly use to show or display the car when finished, two other sets mounted with racing rubber and one fourth set for normal street driving. In essence, I'm buying wheels for my tires and the reason why I now have four pairs of 8x15 Fuchs, three pairs of 9x15 Fuchs and the one pair of 9x15 Magnesium Minilites.

The Minilites should not be driven on the street, they are Magnesium and can damage easily, will probably be exposed to less danger at the track. BTW, where I live, in California there are way too many potholes on the road these days (due to the poor economy) and most cities don't have it in their budgets to make the overwhelming and necessary road/bridge repairs (called it deferred maintenance, if you live in California, you know!). It is pathetic, but come drive our streets and you'll see what I mean (drop a Mag wheel in one of those potholes and you're done for the day!).

Anyway, I have plenty of time to figure this out with the tires and wheels situation, and you're right, a long time ago I started my wheels collection so that I can have these choices available when the time comes. ;)

914-6 GT Mechanical Headlight Kit

Next in line in my GT project is the installation of a 914-6 GT Mechanical Headlight Kit. I'll begin the section with a few photos of some well known 914-6 GT cars and how these kits were installed in each. Not all the photo exposures are good, but it is what I have for now.

Let's take a look, I'll start with the Monte Carlo 0141 GT...
