Question L-Jet Air Flow Sensor Question?

Hello,

Here is a quick question:

What is the difference between the 1974 and 1975 1.8 L-JET FI air flow sensor? (Besides the price!) I have come across a 1974 one and my car is a 75 and they look identical. I think the only difference is one number in the serial code on the top cover. Any clues?

Thanks,

There is a difference. At the very least, the 75 has an intake air temp sensor. The 74 does not. I think there are a different number of pins in the connector due to this.

Not sure if the meters react exactly the same to incoming air otherwise.

Cool, Okay... Thanks for the information. That makes a lot of sence.

Again, this is a great group!
