alternator rotation

I am looking at a Remy alternator and the add says counter-clockwise rotation. Is that correct?

If you'll check this photo of a 914 fan:


You'll see that the concave part of the blades face toward the left. Looking at the fan from the front you would see the fan spinning clockwise--so the alternator has to spin clockwise as well.
