Put your money in the solara!

Honda doesn't offer the Accord V-6 with a manual in the US (and ribs thinks I pick out too much, didn't even say a word when euro claimed the driver of the v-6 accord he was racing 'dropped it' in 3rd during the race).

Adam, me and Ilkiz have done many auto-xes with Tarheel before, but he's never been to CMP afaik. We've both gone to VMP a few times though, and I remember meeting a dude with a red 944 S (one of Carter's friends), I know yours is red too?

I'll look at auto-xes, see what I can come up with, how far are you willing to drive?

BTW, what does the Z club require for TTs? How much experiance, safety equipment etc.?

PS: I've got a camera too, since I'm probably not going to do TT, and I don't think you're doing DE we could tape each other!

I have a IO Port mount for the roll bar so that is what the camera is for.

Nah, the car is black seen here http://www.ipsolve.com/PhotoAlbum/car_and_track.asp

I will hopefully be instructing for the DE but I don't know yet if (Triangle) will honor the BMW/NASA instructor's clinic and experience with NASA. We'll see - either way it's all good.

Go to http://www.thscc.com/timetrial/index.html for the TT/DE reqs. I think you need roll bar but I am not sure on that.

I'll run ya. You won't win sorry pal. I'm going to the drag strip this weekend, and getting a time sheet to shove down your throat after I own you... Peace out... Oh and P.S. You best have more speed than an '89 944, that's all I got to say.

Yeah, I've been to the site but I can't make out forsure if I need a cage, a fire extinguisher etc. I was hoping you could tell me...

Nice car, suddenly I'm hoping you'll be my instructor!

About the camera, I want to have both in car, and views from outside the car on tape...

Looking forward to it, let's see if we can bring some more people out. About the auto-xes, I'll try to look into it asap.

I sent an email to John about an hour ago so hopefully I'll find out mañana but I am not going to hold my breath. I have never done one of their events but my neighbor (a Miata owner) speaks pretty highly of them.

You should definately try to snag a spare set of front pads for CMP. It is much rougher on brakes than VIR. I would think you'd really like the back section - they don't call it the autocross for nothing

Ahmet, I work for a company based in RTP so it might be one of those things where I schedule to be there for Friday (or Monday) and do a Rocky Mt. event. I'd prefer a Greensboro, W-S, and in if I can ever find em.

Why don't you guys realize that our 944 are not made for speed. You can say all you want about your 0-60 times show me the drag strip sheet. Stop talking and show it to us if you complain about people putting you down prove it stop talking. I am sorry whoever posted they lost 1000 lbs. by spare tire, the jack, head rest, and other things the car became around 1000 lbs lighter. That just doesn't happen that is not where the weight is in a car. And tint does not take off 50 lbs. I took it off late this summer you can hold all of it in one hand scrunched up, mabye about 2-4 lbs. Common Sense!
Buy a 951 is you want speed? Maybe?

Rollins was joking about the 1000 lbs weight loss on his Jetta. Should I explain the concept of sarcasm to you?
