Porsche Crest source of a click when turning

Last night I noticed that when going through a turn at 25 and up there's a noticable 'click' sound. It only does it once, and seems to be from something shifting weight around the curve. If you set a baseball in the hatch and go around a curve, right when the ball would hit the side while going around a curve is where my sound happens. The sound is coming from the front of a car.

The sound is pretty dense, if that makes sense.

Would bad motor mounts make the sound? Old swaybar bushings or something like that?

Oh yeah, rear CV joints are all in good shape. click when turning automatically makes you think CV joints, but i checked and they're okay. The sound's coming from the front of the car anyway.

Ball joints would be my guess.

i was just reading the ball joint thread which made me want to post this. I'm sure they could use an update. Were ball joints giving you the same sort of sound?

No sound here. I just wanted to work on my car. It can't hurt to have all new stuff up front, ie. bushings, joints, caster plates, etc..
I had a lot of squishy stuff, I'll tell ya that.

I'm sure I'm in the same boat there. Did you do wheel bearings too? I think i might do everything all at once.

I did the wheel bearings a year ago or so, and check them every so often. Struts were also changed awhile back. In hind sight, I'd do it all at once too, but I always seem to choose the hard way vs. the easy.
