I changed mine this past weekend, did not use any torque spec...just tightened it nice and snug. I reccommend opening the overflow tank cap to depressurize the system and have a few rags handy. Also make sure you install the new crush washer.

techno - is it necessary to use a new crush washer, i know that generally on any app. a crush washer needs to be replaced if removed but uh.. i just put the old one on for now, i dont think there will be any problems but maybe i should? some input maybe?

suprisingly only about 1/4 cup of fluid came out when changing it.

my old one looks soooo bad, the blue top is now a grayish-greenish-blue, the metal is dark brown. i was happy with how easy this was, like a 30 second install. i wish everything was this easy.

My particular problem was a rough idle only on warm starts. I am honestly not really sure. You could check the sensor, to see if its working correctly...
