I have a spoiler that isn't quite 100% fit on my 1983. Are all of the hatch glass curves exactly the same or are later models slightly different from the earlier ones?

Pretty sure they're all the same. I've seen early and late hatches used interchangeably, as well as the ones from a 944 onto a 924S (although the spoiler itself is smaller). 968 hatches also fit fine AFAIK.

i was wondering about the curvature of the glass. i bought a rear spoiler from england and the fitting is about 95% and 5% off base. i tried in everyway to lay it flat but it just doesnt make it down 100%. if the curvature changed slightly, lets say in 1985.5 then i can fix this. if not, i will have to work around it to with fiberglass at the points that don't tounch. thanks!!!

They're all the same. Can fit any OE spoiler on any of the hatches. Aftermarket spoilers, even ones supposedly made to original specs, may suffer build-quality issues that cause problems with fitting them though.
