A/C Question, a new one
I have a weird problem that someone has to have a cure for. When I accelerate w/ the A/C on it quits blowing out of the vents. I can hear the fan blowing air but it sounds like a damper or something blocking the flow into the car. As soon as I let up on the gas it blows ice cold again. With the 134 conversion you could freeze meat in the car.

That is an easy fix !
You loose vacuum when you accelerate. And since the AC door is control by vacuum, when you loose vacuum the door change direction(close the AC) ![]() There is two one way valve on the brake booster. Black /Blue valve is for your AC. Check your vacuum valve black/blue on the Booster brake. -------------------------------------- Bud 87 930 Black 86 951 Black 86 944 N/A Red (parts car) 87 944S White 83 944 N/A Black 83 944 N/A White Auto |

I have a question. If they AC valve isnt on the booster where else could it be? I found my AC valve inside my glove box and I cant figure out where it went. My car has always had a problem with the vents blowing hot air when the car is running. Oh, sorry for hijacking your thread, lol.

What year car is it . Porsche might put it any where in the engine bay.
Like on the 83 944 N/A, the vacuum is from the intake manifold (pic. 1). And on my 86 951 see pic 2. ![]() ![]() Give a picture off the engine bay around the brake booster, maybe I can figure it out where yours will be ----------------------------------------- Bud 87 930 Black 86 951 Black 86 944 N/A Red 87 944 S White 83 944 N/A Black 83 944 N/A White Auto |
