This what I got hook up to ten speakers in my 968,an Alpine 3D3-7887 40wx4amplifiers/rc.Was in when I bought the car so don't ask me how it's hook up,lol when it come to sound system I'm completely in the dark.I don't know how old it is but still play good & no way you can raise the volume to max without ending up with shattered ears drum .

Yea, I saw that pic and it does look like the same cable. Buy my car doesn't have the external CD player, so the only thing left it seems to me is that this cable is just to get the audio from the head unit to the amp, where ever that is...

I have the same radio as you but it has the cassette with a remote cd player, It is a CD 1and it is made by Alpine. When you refer to the horizontal pins on each side of the radio, you say use a pick tool to slide them in the middle. Where are the horizontal pins and the middle of what?

Thanks.

I think that you have to pop the outer ring off first and then you will see the pins that are pictured on guys post dated july 30th.. you are going to be trying to gently be prying the outer box away from the head unit and pulling it out at the same time.
